Wolt is a Finland-based delivery company, recently acquired by Doordash. To promote their Wolt+ subscription, we built a campaign for 26 markets, featuring the epitome of laid back attitude, Owen Wilson. While Owen was enjoying the benefits and ease brought on by Wolt, others took things a bit too seriously.
This campaign was the first of this scale for Wolt and as such, needed a lot of discussions with the client. Finding the right kind of star for the campaign was crucial, after which the scripts were tailored to Owen’s tone of voice.
The campaign consisted of a main film and a full year’s worth of tacticals, ranging from topics like ease of use to skipping the crush on Black Friday. With a one day shoot and 12 pieces of content that needed to work in a variety of formats, the scripts were written in a modular way.
